Troubleshooting and support options
If you are experiencing difficulties using Enventive Concept, please try the following suggestions to resolve your issue.
Check for help in the FAQ
If you are having issues using Enventive Concept, first check the "Troubleshooting" sections of our frequently asked questions to see if help for your issue is included there.
Rebuild or reopen the model
If you are experiencing a problem with an Enventive Concept model such as parameters appearing not to update, problems with lock status, unidentified underconstrained geometry, poor performance, or similar issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Select Rebuild All from the main toolbar .

If Rebuild All does not fix the problem, try closing and reopening the model.
If the problem persists after trying the above troubleshooting steps, contact Enventive Support for assistance.
Contact Enventive Support
If your issue cannot be resolved using one of the suggestions above, please contact Enventive Support. When you contact us, please have as much information as possible about the problem you are experiencing.
To help diagnose the problem, the Enventive Support team may ask you to supply information in the following ways:
- Use the Report a problem with this model... option from the Help menu to send Enventive Support an automatically generated error report, including log files and other files, that will help us get more detailed information about your problem. Note: This Error Report dialog opens automatically if Enventive Concept crashes, in which case we encourage you to send us the error report, along with any details about what you were doing when the crash occurred.

Use one or more of the following options from the Help > Support menu to help troubleshoot and fix the problem:
Open Pre-4.2 Excel Workbook
As of Concept v4.2, Excel has been replaced with a native Enventive Concept spreadsheet. This option lets you open workbooks that were saved in a Concept version prior to v4.2 in Excel, where you can save it and import it if desired, as described in Integration.
Select Object
Lets you select an object (geometry or parameter) by name.
This feature is also available by using the main toolbar's "Select object" field. For more information about selecting objects by name, see Selecting objects by name.
Show/Hide Hidden Objects
Toggle the display of hidden objects, such as those on a hidden layer.
Show/Hide Instance Objects
Toggle the display of instance objects, which include the dimensions and constraints for model instances in assemblies.
Model Properties...
This option shows the version that the model was last saved in.
Query CS...
This option can be used to open a Query CS window to help the Enventive Support team to investigate the cause of an issue.
Load Script File
This option can be used to load a script file to help the Enventive Support team to investigate the cause of an issue.
